Call for Entries

International Women’s Film Festival “KIN”, 10-th edition,  14-18 December 2013

The 10-th International Film Festival «KIN» (kin means “a woman” in Armenian), will be held in Yerevan on 14-18 December 2013. The festival’s goal is promote women’s creativity, establish a network between women filmmakers from different parts of the world and give hand to a better understanding of different cultures and each other. The purpose of the festival is to address through films issues of violence, inequality, discrimination and other problems related to women’s rights and gender problems.

10-th International Film Festival “KIN” will include the following topics:

  1. Competition Program for all genres: Documentary, Short, Animation. Duration – less than 45 min. 
  2. Guests Program
  3. Retrospective screening of films directed by French woman film maker Alice Guy Blache
  4. 90-Anniversary of Tamara Lisitsian
  5. Japanese Films Program

For Competition Pprogram there are nominations “Best Film”, “Special Prize” and Diplomas.

Application submission deadline: 28 August 2013

Film must be with English subtitles.

Accepted screening formats:  DVD
