Call for Entries

International Women’s Film Festival “KIN”, 11-th edition,  1-5 November 2014

The 10-th International Film Festival «KIN» (kin means “a woman” in Armenian), will be held in Yerevan on 1-5 November 2014. The festival’s goal is promote women’s creativity, establish a network between women filmmakers from different parts of the world and give hand to a better understanding of different cultures and each other. The purpose of the festival is to address through films issues of violence, inequality, discrimination and other problems related to women’s rights and gender problems.

10-th International Film Festival “KIN” will include the following topics:

  1. Competition Program for all genres: Documentary, Short, Animation. Duration of the films had to be less than 40 min
  2. Guests Program
  3. Turkish films’ Program
  4. Retrospective screenings 

For Competition Pprogram there are nominations “Best Film”, “Special Prize” and Diplomas.

Application submission deadline: 28 July 2014

Film must be with English subtitles.

Accepted screening formats:  DVD
